What do you think of the man who proved God existed and came close to sharing?
A woman preacher who came to a church I was attending told about a man who proved God existed through science machines and data work back in 1938. He was an Italian and a staunch atheist and determined to prove God did not exist he set out on a mission but then was shocked when his evidence showed God was real. But the Fascit Italian governemnt, being atheist, got wind of it and refused to allow any evidence of God to be shown and arrested the man and destoryed all his paperwork and photographs. They jailed him for seven years but he secretly kept photocopies in a wallet until he was freed in 1944 and traveld by bus to Switzerland where he set out to duplicate the results. He finally did in 1953 but lost the evidence when the trunk with the evidnece was put on the wrong train back to Italy and he was forced to duplicate it a third time. In 1956, he set out to New York to display the evidence and show the shocked world God existed but ironically the ship he choose was the Andrea Doria and the ship sank off Nantucket and all the evidence and the machines used to prove it sank with the ship to the seabed. The science was unable to duplicate without his oriongal sketchs but he was close to getting the evidence again in 1960 when he died of a heart attack in Rome. He told his story to a nurse who told the story to her niece, who was the women preacher who told it to the Holiness church I attended. What is your views? How does it feel to know we were so close to hearing the truth.

Dear Matthew, I dont know where you are coming from with this. Let me assume you are sincere for a moment. Surely you are aware that "faith" and "proof" are antithetical, arent you? You see, the divine accent is firmly latched onto faith. In spite of the clamour for proof, there is none and there cannot be. You may have noticed a glaring lack of proof, either for or against the existence of God. That is a remarkably neutral balance that He maintains in order to give faith a place to grow. That in itself is noteworthy evidence for those with eyes to see. For the man who looks into a mirror and sees God no additional proof is needed. For the man who sees only his parents offspring, none is possible.

The truth does not require a laboratory, the belief of God is based on faith. We have Jesus to provide us will the actual statement: Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed." John 20:29 What does the above verse mean? This verse is a beatitude on future generations; faith, not sight, matters. Additionally, when we read Isaiah 55:8, 9 it is clear that trying to find God through a scientific study is kind of pointless: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD." "As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways above your ways and my thoughts above your thoughts." Do you think I'm being ungrateful? Is it wrong to feel this way?
I'm in my senior year of high school and even though it's just the beginning, there is already a lot of stuff coming up that is going to cost major money. I have three older siblings who are now in there mid to late twenties and no longer live at home. My family would be considered middle class. My stepfather is one of the bigger managers at a grocery store (I don't know what his "official title" is) and my mom works part time as a nurse. I don't ask for a lot of stuff. I usually feel really uncomfortable asking for things, I'm not really sure why. At my school there are a whole bunch of graduation trips. One of them is to Paris, France another to somewhere in Switzerland. The one I really want to go to is to New York. It's for four days and you get to go see two Broadway shows and go to all the museums, and other tourist stuff. It's going to be around $600-700, plus lunch money for each day and spending money. My parents say I probably can't go because it is expensive. I understand it is a lot of money, but I feel really... I don't know what the word is. It's just all of my brothers and sisters got to go on graduation trips (my sister went to Nunavut, and I can't remember where my brothers went) and that was back when my Mom was a single mother. I'm trying to get a job to pay for it myself, but everywhere I apply isn't hiring or has already filled the position, etc. Another thing is I can't go to university I want to go to, not because it's a fancy, prestigious, expensive university, but because it isn't in my home town and therefore my parents won't have enough money. But, they paid for most of my sister and one of brothers tuition, and both of them constantly switched programs (which added costs) and my brother ended up dropping out and my sister took a break because she got pregnant (she's married, don't worry). They also paid all the fees for university applications three or four times for my other brother, and he ended up not going and getting addicted to drugs. I feel like it's wrong for me to feel this way, but at the same time, I just feel like all my brothers and sisters were given tons of opportunities to go the universities they wanted and the trips and stuff and I'm not. I know things are really expensive (otherwise I'd just pay for them myself) and costs have gone up, times are harder, my parents have other things the need to pay for, etc, etc. And that really I should contribute (I try, but I don't really have any money, because I can't get a job) and that I'm lucky to even have the chance to go to university... I'm just, I don't know. I feel gipped, kind of :S (Sorry this is so long, I ramble)

Two big questions - one about a senior trip to NYC and another about university costs. Keep in mind that the world wide economy is now terrible compared to just a few years ago when your siblings were your age. Reports about the economy are in the news on a daily basis so you are probably aware of how bad it is. This has nothing to do with your mom and stepdad wanting or not wanting to send you someplace, it's a financial reality. Is your biological father available to help? If so, ask him for some assistance - maybe matching funds if you earn part of the money for the trip. Jobs are not plentiful right now. Most jobs that were historically held by teens (fast food, part time shop work) have now been taken by adults who are supporting their families. Still, it doesn't mean jobs are not available. Get creative. You can do the standby babysitting work - even a regular after school or Saturday sitting job for someone in the neighborhood. It could mean sacrificing some social activity but at least you would have the job and income. Walk dogs, have a yard sale, paint or do yard work for your neighbors. Do computer input for people who are less savvy - including correspondence or accounting - QuickBooks Accounting is an easy program. A few hours of data input a day in a small office would help you as well as the business owner. It would also give you another job skill. As far as university expenses, financial assistance, scholarships and grants are available and not just based on your academic background. Check out CLEP, the College Level Examination Program. Talk to your high school adviser about the program or look on line. It will save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars in tuition and book expenses and it will save you many class room hours because you can test out of electives. I tested out of 15 hours and my brother tested out of 27 hours. That was equivalent to a semester for me and almost two for my brother. That is also a lot of saved tuition. Think hard about attending a junior or community college for the first two years. In the U.S. most JCs work closely with state universities to transfer all credits to a four year program. You could live at home, work, attend school and sock away some money for the last two and most important years of your degree program. You will also have a better understanding of where you want your life to go. Don't discount the military either. Depending on your country, you may be able to have the government pay for your education, in full, in exchange for your service. Most of all, talk to your siblings, parents and stepdad. What to do when Depression comes back?
I have had depression since I was 9, and last year (17) I went off my meds with the help of a councelor. I was really really good, and seemed to be in controle of my Depression. THen I made a stupid mistake and moved to Switzerland. I am only out here till January (and my mom is coming in December) So I dont have long to wait, 47 days. But I think my depression is coming back. I can hardly wake up in the morning, I have to FORCE myself out of bed. and if it wasnt for the fact that 2 kids are here needing my care I wouldnt get out of bed. On weekends I sleep the WHOLE weekend. I wake up sometimes to go to the bathroom then crawl back into bed. I feel like there is no hope and the days arent passing. I feel like its forever and a day till I can go home. I can not afford my meds out here on my salary, so is there anything I can do to just calm myslef and give myself hope and energy? p.s. I am taking a multi vitamin since my grandma thought it would help with the fatigue (shes a nurse) and its the routine that kills me. Im not allowed to leave the house because the little one isnt supposed to go outside. I have to stay indoors 24/7. the last time I actually went out was on Saturday for 20 min. and the time before that was Saturday again. im an aupair, but thanks for being so ignorant. not everyone is a younge mom. I hate that everyone assumes that. I cant go out because I work all day and have no time. I am not allowed to go out with the younge one.

Your children could be a good driving force in your ability to function but I know that its not that easy. I would set up a calender and count down the days. Call home if you can as often as you can.You don't have that much more time to go. And as soon as you get home...go to the Dr's. I would also set up a daily regiment so that should keep you on track some. I suffer from depression to so I know what you are going through. Good luck.

It s that time of year when the dark nights cause depression I think that you should try to get some one to look after your children and take time to your self every one should take at least 4 hours to get you head shired and get involved in a hobby , go skiing eat out or just have a coffee and try to relax you don't say if your husband or partner is with you if he is he could be more supportive if not use the time when your mother comes over to help explain your feelings to her let her be your crutch good luck and i hope you turn you life around

You are in a difficult position right now. Depression influences one's perceptions, and the deeper the depression the more hopeless, helpless and dark seems one's plight. Try to keep in mind that these are symptoms that can and will be alleviated once you are able to restart medication. Can anyone send you money for meds? Thank you to all who answered my question on euthanasia
Thank you to all who answered my question on euthanasia!!!?
Thank you to all those answerers who decided to answer my question. I see that most would be supportive of legalizing euthanasia. Legalizing only means that the doctor/nurse who helps you along cannot be prosecuted for murder. Did any of you know that Oregon has euthanasia laws? Another country is the Netherlands adn a third one is Switzerland. Legalizing this would ensure that those who don't want to live due to terminal illness can get the chance of a dignified final exit--unlike suicide which can be painful and go wrong.... As far as my condition is concerned am I at the point where quality of life does suffer--but I decided to stick it out a little while longer, because I do want to meet my grandchildren before I make that final deciion...so thank you for all the good opinions, which I had not expected.

Be honest with your doctor when its time too. Majority of doctors will help you go quietly and with the pain control they have now, it is more dignified. I have seen many patients just use the pain control to pass away, on mutual sides by doctors and patient and family, just discuss it now ahead of time, so that way you know where you stand with your doctor when the time arises. I'm sorry to hear about your condition.

I live in Washington state, only a 150 miles or so from Oregon. Their assisted suicide law is a model for the rest of the nation, in my opinion. Washington is trying to hash one out now. I applaud you in your battle; even though you are having some problems, I believe that it's important to keep going as long as you reasonably can. Life is a precious commodity, and I hope that you make it to see your grandchildren. Dylan Thomas was right: "Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light." but it's also right to let go when you have striven your utmost best. I don't know if you are a believer, but I hope that you will have refuah shlema - the renewal of mind, body, and spirit, to deal with what you must. Shalom.

Is this a good beginning?
This is just the beginning of a book i'm writing, but it's not finished yet. prolouge-Emerald eyes On June seventeenth, at exactly the stroke of midnight, a baby girl weighing eight pounds and six ounces, with her feternal twin was born to Michael and America Mendler. Two proud parents, already mother and father to many. Matthew, Maxamillion, Michael, Athena, Arena, Jerimiah and Josphia. The year was 1998 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. Two nurses held uo the twins, side by side, both wrapped in pink. The other twin was asleep, but the other was wide awake. Ger eyes were wide with wonder, her eyes bright and clear, a smile on her gace. Her blanket couldn't restrain her tiny arms and skinny little hands. A small whisp of blond hair was sticking up on her head. Her eyes lashes were black, despite her blond hair. Her skin was a bright shade of ivory, there was no color in her cheeks or the rest of her. The nurses were baffled by the one twin's excited behavior and weir features but relieved by the other twin's normal behavior. One twin would drink formula, the abnormal twin would only drink fat free milk mixed with warm honey. One twin clung to both her parents, the other wanted only her dad. One woke up every hour or so, the other slept through the night. One twins teeth were soft and milky colored, the others were strong and white, adult teeth. They weren't sharp or jagged, like a person might think they'd be. And this child, she was curious, bright, sweet and wild. "What shall you name them?"A nurse asked, passing the demanding, abnormal twin to her father as another passed the normal, sweet little twin to her mother. "I haven't got a clue."Michael said, rocking his baby girl slowly, trying to lull her to sleep, but it didn't work. Failed attempt number....ten? To lull her to sleep. The other twin, the normal twin, was fast asleep in her mothers arms. The mother slowly rocked the baby in her arms, giving the abnormal twins name some thought. She came up with a name when she saw a flower through the window, by a pond. It was a water lily. and it was beautiful. "Lily Belle."America said out loud. The baby girl clapped her hands and squealed in her fathers arms. And then the mother sighed and to her normal baby, "Laurel Whyte." Soon after, the twins were being passed from child to child in the Mendler family. Lily dazzled everyone. But they dazzled her, too. Being dazzled while dazzling. Everyone loved Lily but Lily loved everyone, too. She loved her father the most. Soon after Lily and Laurel were born, at the age of one month, Lily and her family moved to Copenhogden, Denmark. The family lived there for four long years, until a tragedy struck the family. Michael dissapeared one day while fishing on the families boat in the ocean. they moved after a year of searching for him. They set up searches in the near country, Sweden. Also in other countries like, Germany, Switzerland, France. The family soon gave up and America moved everyone to Kansas where they started a farm. The other's didn't like to work, but Lily did. Working up from feeding chickens, to brushing and taking horses, to repainting fences and mailboxes and picking and planting in the garden. When Lily reached the age of twelve, another tragedy struck her life. Her mother died in a car crash with her friends parents. Flatt Quenn, Jeliah Mixx, Jazmin Young, Cedric Yorkk and his baby sister, Rukai Yorkk were also left parentless. But let's begin this story on June seventeen, five thirty in the morning. I'm writing myself a book, I'm 14 years old, and it doesn't looks even a little bit like this opening you have there. It's a great introduction for what's about to happen. It's a really interesting idea but right away I'm curious about why the parents have so many children. It might get confusing to tell them all apart later. You could edit the first two sentences together. For instance (and I don't think you need 'exactly') Also, are both twins girls? You mean fraternal. 'On June 17, 1998 at the stroke of midnight, fraternal baby girls were born to Michael and America Mendler. (any reason the reader needs to know the name of the hospital?) Two nurses held the twins side by side, both wrapped in pink. One (the other and the other?) was asleep, but the other was wide awake with eyes full of wonder (newborn babies can't smile, sorry.) A small whisp of blond hair was sticking up on her head although her lashes were black. (bright shade of ivory? Consider revising. It doesn't make sense) At this point I think you should name the twins so when you refer from one to the other the reader will know who you mean. If this is 1998, don't say 'shall.' It's old fashioned. Edit all the stuff describing them way down and *please* don't use the word dazzling over and over. I had a Twilight flashback. Not good. Tell the story in as few words as possible. For instance When they were one month old, the family moved to Copenhogden, Denmark. Simple. Then you flash forward four years, so that seems to happen too fast and then they move again. It's confusing. One move is enough. Then Lily is twelve? slow it down a little. Then there's another tragedy and then you say 'let's begin?' The Mom dying seems like overkill and the story's already begun so you don't need that. Keep working on it and good luck!

Two nurses held uo the twins, side by side, both wrapped in pink. The other twin was asleep, but the other was wide awake. Ger eyes were wide with wonder, her eyes bright and clear, a smile on her gace. Her blanket couldn't restrain her tiny arms and skinny little hands. A small whisp of blond hair was sticking up on her head. Her eyes lashes were black, despite her blond hair. Her skin was a bright shade of ivory, there was no color in her cheeks or the rest of her. The nurses were baffled by the one twin's excited behavior and weir features but relieved by the other twin's normal behavior. One twin would drink formula, the abnormal twin would only drink fat free milk mixed with warm honey. One twin clung to both her parents, the other wanted only her dad. One woke up every hour or so, the other slept through the night. One twins teeth were soft and milky colored, the others were strong and white, adult teeth. They weren't sharp or jagged, like a person might think they'd be. And this child, she was curious, bright, sweet and wild. "What shall you name them?"A nurse asked, passing the demanding, abnormal twin to her father as another passed the normal, sweet little twin to her mother. "I haven't got a clue."Michael said, rocking his baby girl slowly, trying to lull her to sleep, but it didn't work. Failed attempt number....ten? To lull her to sleep. The other twin, the normal twin, was fast asleep in her mothers arms. The mother slowly rocked the baby in her arms, giving the abnormal twins name some thought. She came up with a name when she saw a flower through the window, by a pond. It was a water lily. and it was beautiful. "Lily Belle."America said out loud. The baby girl clapped her hands and squealed in her fathers arms. And then the mother sighed and to her normal baby, "Laurel Whyte." Soon after, the twins were being passed from child to child in the Mendler family. Lily dazzled everyone. But they dazzled her, too. Being dazzled while dazzling. Everyone loved Lily but Lily loved everyone, too. She loved her father the most. Soon after Lily and Laurel were born, at the age of one month, Lily and her family moved to Copenhogden, Denmark. The family lived there for four long years, until a tragedy struck the family. Michael dissapeared one day while fishing on the families boat in the ocean. they moved after a year of searching for him. They set up searches in the near country, Sweden. Also in other countries like, Germany, Switzerland, France. The family soon gave up and America moved everyone to Kansas where they started a farm. The other's didn't like to work, but Lily did. Working up from feeding chickens, to brushing and taking horses, to repainting fences and mailboxes and picking and planting in the garden. When Lily reached the age of twelve, another tragedy struck her life. Her mother died in a car crash with her friends parents. Flatt Quenn, Jeliah Mixx, Jazmin Young, Cedric Yorkk and his baby sister, Rukai Yorkk were also left parentless. But let's begin this story on June seventeen, five thirty in the morning. Hey, I'm from Australia (16 years old) and in the future wish to do a Bachelor of Science specializing in the environment or geology. I recently did work experience at Beverly uranium mine and traveled around the mine with the Senior Mine Environmentalist and senior geologist. It was great, they had such a varied jobs which included making sure the miners stick to the environmental guidelines, making sure the uranium did not affect the biodiversity, examining core samples and so much more. I highly recommend entering the mineral industry which can give you the opportunity to travel the world. Australian is crying out for environmentalists and geologists due to its massive mining boom. Throughout the world there are hundreds of mines therefore there are always jobs which allows you to travel and do your best to reduce the consequences of mining on the local biodiversity and find massive ore deposits. GEOLOGIST: Salary: Graduate: AUD $70K. Senior: $120k + ENVIRONMENTALIST: Salary: Graduate AUD $50K Senior: $80k + My dad mangages a Major uranium mine in south australia and only seeks people who have tickets or previous experience. cheers

If the UK is right-wing, why does it have such a comprehensive health care system?
The UK government owns every bit of the health care system, nothing is private. It owns the hospitals, it owns the ambulance services, all the nurses, doctors, paramedics, ward staff are all government employees. There is pretty much no privatization anywhere in the NHS system. This is in contrast to Japan, Switzerland and Canada where most of their hospitals and doctors are private, and the government just subsidize the cost, rather than actually owning the system itself. The UK government covers 82% of health care costs, whereas in Canada only 69% of the costs are covered, and in Australia 67% of the costs are covered. The UK system seems to be the ultimate socalist system. Nothing right-wing about it.

That's the idea (and problem) of the NHS. The public own everything. Unfortunately this is often just an excuse to employ millions of paper pushers who really don't fill any function other than to be expensive office-fillers, creating bureaucracy for each other. The idea of it was to create a state-owned healthcare provider whose services would be free at the point of need, so you don't get a scene like you get in American hospitals when people with their guts spilling out all over the place are searching for their credit cards or are on the phone to their bank manager frantically re-mortgaging their house. That's not to say that there isn't private healthcare in the UK. Ironically one of the largest private healthcare organisations in the world, BUPA, is very prevalent in the healthcare industry. And you can't take the NHS as being the bellwether for the British nation in general. Within the market capitalist economy and the shrinking state, the NHS is something of an anachronism nowadays.

How can i get a job with the Unitied Nations (UN)
How can i get a job with the Unitied Nations (UN)?
I am an Australian girl studying nursing, and i am applying for the Australian army as a nurse. But is this enough experience to get a job at the World Health organisation (WHO). I speak english fluently, and an intermediate level of french (as i lived in switzerland for 6 months). Really what i want to know is; what kind of a job i can get am i doing the right things towards getting that job and how i eventually go about applying for it! it would really help if i could get some idea, this is my life long dream and now im old enough to make it happen! How can I start a life abroad after graduation
How can I start a life abroad after graduation?
I'm a nursing student in Georgia, USA and I aspire to move to Europe after I graduate and live and work there for at least a year. I'm thinking either Germany, England, Scotland, or Switzerland (I've visited and am fond of all of these places). How would I go about finding a job, a place to live, and starting a life there? Any advice would be helpful, especially from those who have had experience moving away!

For Germany you become fluent in German, for Switzerland you become fluent in German, French, or Italian depending on where you want to live. If you only speak English you are limited to England and Scotland. You should get in contact with their boards to see what you can do to be qualified in the United Kingdom (though no love for Wales or Northern Ireland?!?!), you may have to attend extra courses, or just pay a fee. If you do speak any of the aforementioned languages the issue is the same, contact the board and find out what the procedure is for qualifying international nurses. Starting a life is your last worry now, you have to be allowed into the country first and be able to find work, which is less easy in the UK.

Who said the States was the best in the West?
My and the wife and 5 other buddies are leaving the United States. I have many in demand skills that are needed everywhere especially in the States. I've got my degree in business, I.T., and Sociology. My wife is a Registered Nurse. Some of my friends that are leaving are 2 Medical Doctors, 1 Dentist, 1 Accountant, and 1 other Registered Nurse. We are very close friends and we've all reached a consensus that that United States won't be such a great place to call home in the future. It could not be more blatantly obvious the the Quality of life in the U.S. is failing while other countries are improving. My and the wife are moving to Sweden. My friends are going to Canada, Australia, and Switzerland. Most of them already have job offers and they will all be making more money with their new jobs. My question is, isn't it sad that the U.S. is failing it's own people in promising the land of Milk & Honey which it so obviously lacks? Isn’t it sad; the direction in which the U.S. is heading? So much social disorder. So much poverty. No quality healthcare for the general public at large. No retirement. No social security. All with homelessness and obesity becoming such an epidemic. And there is no relief. No help from the government. The rich continue to exploit the poor. The poor are held down with no room for advancement. There is no end in sight for how ugly the future looks for the United States. Is anyone out there even concerned about this? What can be done to stop the downward trend of the U.S. And with so many professionals ditching the States. How could the States remain competitive worldwide? Inflation is becoming a huge problem in the U.S. The cost of living continues to climb each year while the income remains the same. Also there are more imports than exports. More money if flowing OUT of the States rather than IN right now. The U.S. borrowed billions of dollars from China and still has no way to pay it back. All while the National Deficit continues to soar ever higher. More than 3 trillion right now. Ever heard the saying "The bigger they are, the harder they fall"? Well soon enough the U.S. will start crashing down. And great will be it's fall.

This isn't an answer, because of course i can say, sure it's sad. but 1st. the milk and honey promise was only made to Israel by God. 2nd, who are "so many professionals". I'm a professional, I have my Masters in psych and working on my Ph.D, and I'm not leaving. I work mostly with MDs and other Ph.Ds and none of them are leaving. Yes there are some countries that do other things well. I hear Germany is very nice. France is out. England and surrounding are mildly interesting. The middle east is going down the tubes fast. China and Russia are no campgrounds. Canada is great i hear too. Every country has it's poor, rich and social injustices. Instead of leaving, maybe try to make your own little nitch a better place. if everyone does that then there would be no reason to leave. The government isn't the answer to all your problems. We are the answer to many of our problems. Good luck anyway.

I want to immigrate to Europe and denounce my American citizenship. How I do this
I want to immigrate to Europe and denounce my American citizenship. How I do this?
I want to leave America and head for life else where, but before I do this, I want to work abroad and shop for a country that suits me before settling in. My main concern is making a living. I am currently qualified in the state of OH as a nurse's aid and a truck driver. I was wondering if my current US endorsements would be accepted in the country I want to work in, be transferable or would I have to go through the course all over again to get it and is it a big pain to get the work visas and how do I get them? I am planning to work in either the U.K or Ireland for awhile and eventually move to Switzerland and claiming citizenship there or go to Switzerland directly, live there awhile and then claim citizenship. My reasons for this are my own and if you do not have any useful insight or claim me as unpatriatic as an exscuse to be rude, then I kindly ask of you not to answer. For those with good advice, thank you in advance. Please note I did ask kindly for rude replies not to be posted. Many such responses have been and therefore their comments have been flagged and removed. I do not want to join a foriegn legion. I don't think I'd want to fight for a country to gain its citizenship to find out its a country I rather not live in. Also, fighting in a foriegn armed service is a quick way to renounce my US citizenship. Not a good idea for the previous stated reason. One more day and I will close this question for it seems I am getting no more replies.

Wish I could go with you. From what I understand it is very difficult to get work in any european country unless you are a citizen. You would be a dishwasher or have a menial position. It is difficult to get citizenship as well. Europe is the new America.

It is not necessary to denounce your American citizenship to live overseas. Just do it.

Just a cautionary note. Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be a hard place to get accepted by the people that live there, unless you have their genes. I know cuz I tried to move to Austria, but unless you knew the language or had some Austrian in your blood, you were always an outsider. Same experience in Germany. Others I have talked to said they encountered the same problems in Switzerland. Sorry for the not so great news, but I thought I should let you know. I was born in Europe, but am now living in Canada.

Truck driver might not work out so well since they drive on the opposite side of the road in the UK. That takes a LOT of getting used to. To make matters worse, better than half of the roads in the UK are one lane so you have to be ultra careful. Also, housing costs are sky high. What we would consider an average house costs $1,000,000 or more because of the currency exchange rate. I don't know anything about nursing transferability, sorry. Remember, there ARE 49 other states in the US, all different in many ways, but alike in the ways of use to you. Good luck.

The Logging co. he worked for is located here in the Pacific Northwest, but in the 90's when the logging industry was hit so hard, they bid on a job in New Zealand, and got it. My friend and others of the crew obtained work visas, however they were only good for three years max! For some of the guys, the job wasn't finished before the visa's ran out and even though the owner of the co. tried to get extensions for them, they couldn't stay. I think you'll find that some of these other countries don't have a Lady Liberty greeting immigrants and don't WANT one. Maybe you could consider Alaska or Hawaii? Far away but still part of the USA. Might be better than waking up some day to find out you are not only without a job, but also without a country! Bon Voyage!

Join the Foreign Legion? Anyhow...I do not think you can 'claim' citizenship in another country [otherwise we wouldnt have such an immigration prob here lol], you have to apply for it, stating a good reason- according to their standards.

I would save money in order to have enough to deal with a mafia entity if you need to buy a wife (depending on where you are). I would go to Amsterdam and enjoy the weed. maybe she wants to go to that plces and she is concerned what if she is denied by the embassy because she is a hep.b + and she cant work anymore in those countries? is it still possible that she can still work there even if she is a hep.b+ as a nurse...someday....thus her condition wont hinder her?

Life in Zurich, Switzerland?
I am 18 years old, from Canada, and I am planning on moving to Zurich in the next 4 to 5 years after I get my degree for a registered nurse. What is the job outlook for this occupation there? I was wondering if anyone would like to share some experiences of living in Switzerland and give me some advice about the work and life there. I love Europe and I heard that Zurich is one of the best cities. If anyone would like to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated :)

Well, I'm originally from Zürich... I think, it's one of the best towns in Switzerland (but not really in Europe..). It has plenty of jobs to offer as well as unnumbered leisure possibilities. An absolute must, if you want to work there as a nurse: Fluency in German (actually, the language spoken by the locals is called Allemanic, some also call it Swiss-German)! Since you still have a few years to go, use it for that purpose. Living costs are much higher than in Canada which I know from personal travel experience. I am 18 years old, from Canada, and I am planning on moving to Zurich in the next 4 to 5 years after I get my degree for a registered nurse. What is the job outlook for this occupation there? I was wondering if anyone would like to share some experiences of living in Switzerland and give me some advice about the work and life there. I love Europe and I heard that Zurich is one of the best cities. If anyone would like to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated :)

Well, I'm originally from Zürich... I think, it's one of the best towns in Switzerland (but not really in Europe..). It has plenty of jobs to offer as well as unnumbered leisure possibilities. An absolute must, if you want to work there as a nurse: Fluency in German (actually, the language spoken by the locals is called Allemanic, some also call it Swiss-German)! Since you still have a few years to go, use it for that purpose. Living costs are much higher than in Canada which I know from personal travel experience. My boyfriend and I are moving to Switzerland within the next 4 years and I was wondering how hard it is to move there. I am in the process of getting my nursing degree and was also wondering if Switzerland has a high demand for nurses like they do in the US. I am looking to get into the mental health field. 1. I wouldn't consider Libya if I were you. Look for what happened to the Bulgarian nurses in this country. Switzerland is a much more secure and comfortable place to go. As Filipino, avoid Arabic countries by all means! For Filipino girls and women are highly disregarded and barely considered as more than slaves in those countries. Then same applies to Asian women in general.

I am a poor minister of Cauldkirk, a remote Scottish hamlet. Once an English tourist knocked on our door late in the evening - he lost his way. He fell ill, and stayed in bed for a month. My daughter, Felicia, and my sister Judith nursed him. He fell in love with Felicia and proposed to her. I enquired about his income, his character, and made them wait for 6 month to test them. Both waited, persisted, and married 6 months later. They went on a honeymoon to France and Switzerland. Felicia was very happy. They came back home, and she changed. I visited them, and she told me that her husband acted most strangely: for the first week he came out in the morning to do business in the City, he said; a week later morning business stopped and he started going out in the evening, to his club, he said. He has a closed private room, and buys my daughter expensive presents. Felicia saw him once talking to a loud and vulgar woman with yellow hair. I suspect that he is a gamester. What should we do? When we ask him directly, he shouts and becomes angry.

Will i get a green card?
Hi i am a 19 year old girl who was originally born in Kosovo and i moved to the U.S. with my parents at the age of 8. i live my whole like in america and finished high school there.. its a long story but me and my family went back to kosovo willingly and i got married to a man in switzerland... I lives in america for 11 years and am more of an american than anything else. america is all i know. If i go to college here and become a nurse what would my chances be of getting a green card?? PLEASE HELP

What do you think of the man who proved God existed and came close to sharing?
A woman preacher who came to a church I was attending told about a man who proved God existed through science machines and data work back in 1938. He was an Italian and a staunch atheist and determined to prove God did not exist he set out on a mission but then was shocked when his evidence showed God was real. But the Fascit Italian governemnt, being atheist, got wind of it and refused to allow any evidence of God to be shown and arrested the man and destoryed all his paperwork and photographs. They jailed him for seven years but he secretly kept photocopies in a wallet until he was freed in 1944 and traveld by bus to Switzerland where he set out to duplicate the results. He finally did in 1953 but lost the evidence when the trunk with the evidnece was put on the wrong train back to Italy and he was forced to duplicate it a third time. In 1956, he set out to New York to display the evidence and show the shocked world God existed but ironically the ship he choose was the Andrea Doria and the ship sank off Nantucket and all the evidence and the machines used to prove it sank with the ship to the seabed. The science was unable to duplicate without his oriongal sketchs but he was close to getting the evidence again in 1960 when he died of a heart attack in Rome. He told his story to a nurse who told the story to her niece, who was the women preacher who told it to the Holiness church I attended. What is your views? How does it feel to know we were so close to hearing the truth.

Dear Matthew, I dont know where you are coming from with this. Let me assume you are sincere for a moment. Surely you are aware that "faith" and "proof" are antithetical, arent you? You see, the divine accent is firmly latched onto faith. In spite of the clamour for proof, there is none and there cannot be. You may have noticed a glaring lack of proof, either for or against the existence of God. That is a remarkably neutral balance that He maintains in order to give faith a place to grow. That in itself is noteworthy evidence for those with eyes to see. For the man who looks into a mirror and sees God no additional proof is needed. For the man who sees only his parents offspring, none is possible.

We have Jesus to provide us will the actual statement: Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed." John 20:29 What does the above verse mean? This verse is a beatitude on future generations; faith, not sight, matters. Additionally, when we read Isaiah 55:8, 9 it is clear that trying to find God through a scientific study is kind of pointless: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD." "As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways above your ways and my thoughts above your thoughts." Moreover, based on the cited research a good natural, (Spanish) grape based resveratrol product, made from the pulp, the seeds, the skin and the stem of the (Spanish) grapes - which contain trans- and cis-resveratrol, catechin, gallic acid, quercetin, pterostilbene, malvidin, peonidin, petunidin, delhpinidin and cyanidin - such as res-juventa and others, may actually, in single product, address all areas of concern mentioned by you. Some of the research is still in a relatively early stage and I would therefore not (yet) recommend synthetic, high dose (1000mg and more) products. But as long as you stay with a natural, FDA monitored product (look for a FDA registration number on the label; not the product is tested, as FDA does not directly test dietary supplements, but the import and the labeling are monitored) in a range of 350 - 500 mg, it seems to be o.k.
