I need weight loss advice

I need weight loss advice?
I'm a 19 year old female. I'm about 5'7 and I weigh about 228 lbs. I don't look like I weigh 228 (meaning i don't have much flab or jelly). and people I know are usually shocked at my weight because i don't look like it, even the nurse double checked. I have always had trouble with my weight since I could remember. I am very picky about what I eat. I eat breakfast in the morning which consist of a sandwich with oven roaster turkey and swiss cheese no butter or anything added, and some tea to drink. I usually don't eat lunch but if i do it would be chicken soup. For dinner I have smaller proportions. I don't eat out and i don't eat fried foods and I treat myself to a chocolate treat once in a while. I am constantly working around my house cooking and cleaning and I run errands all the time. Thyroids is a problem in my family but i've had them checked. I also have a family history of Diabetes, obesity, High blood Pressure, and heart disease. but I have clear from all that--for now which is why I feel the need to lose this weight that wont come off. I really want to lose some weight and I would like some advice as to what I can do to lose weight. I hate feeling the way i do, i have a bruised self esteem. and I would love help to get that boosted. Thank you I also get pretty stressed. I am a freshman in college, I'm trying to find a job while keeping up grades in school and doing house work. I have a 17 year old sister who doesn't do anything in the house so I fight with her. I am constantly being called on to drive people every where. Maybe stress could be a part of me not losing the weight

Avoid processed food, and fast food places. Have bowls of vegetables and fruit around the house so you'll have a healthy snack within your reach. A healthy diet includes carbs, so don't skip them. Instead, substitute white for whole wheat. As for exersise, try to get at least 10 minutes a day. Take a walk, ride your bike, take the stairs, or dance to some music. You don't have to do a 10 mile jog. Remember not to get obsessed with what society veiws as 'beauty', because being underweight is unhealthy and not beautiful. Healthy is beautiful, so stay healthy!

For every 3500 calories that you burn more than you consume you will lose about a pound. To break it down by days: If you consume 500 less calories than you burn per day, you will safely lose about a pound per week. Some foods like pickles, cucumbers, celery, and some others actually act like negative calories. It takes as much or more calories to digest the food than the food has. Fruits and vegetables make great snacks. Fill up on them and eat less at your big meals. You should never go hungry while dieting. You can use the calculators below to figure out how much weight you will lose and to make adjustments to your carorie intake and burning to make your goal.
