how can i make a cut heal faster, plus more questions?
hey so last night i cut myself with a swiss army knife(i know i'm a retard). it was bleeding alot so i cleaned it by putting listerine on cuz it was the alchohol i had. i put alot of pressure on the cut and rapped it in gauze. the next day when i took off the gauze it was still bleeding so i cleaned it out with listerine and rewrapped it. when i went to school and saw the nurse the bleeding stopped so she put bacitracin and another bandaid and i was fine. later, being a retard again, i strated playing basketball and some kid tore the bandaid off and it started bleeding again. i went straight to the nurse, and she made me clean it with soap and water and she put some more bacitracin on and then she put another bandaid on. i took it off a few minutes ago wen i went into the shower and it wasn;t bleeding and it didn;t start bleeding again. do u think i have an infection? the cut was really deep by the way. is wrapping the bandaid tight around it bad? what can i do to make it heal faster, and what can i do to prevent and infection from happening?

Cleanse well with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide (It may bring out a mere 'yikes' out of you...then put on a cream antibacterial ointment/something to keep loose dirt from getting deep into the wound which may cause infection. Thanks!
