How can i get a job with the Unitied Nations (UN)?
I am an Australian girl studying nursing, and i am applying for the Australian army as a nurse. But is this enough experience to get a job at the World Health organisation (WHO). I speak english fluently, and an intermediate level of french (as i lived in switzerland for 6 months). Really what i want to know is; what kind of a job i can get am i doing the right things towards getting that job and how i eventually go about applying for it! it would really help if i could get some idea, this is my life long dream and now im old enough to make it happen! check out UN website they have available job postings there.

go to unjobs.org and look up their jobs. My sister just got an offer from them.

Try UN Volunteers (UNV) and work as a volunteer for a short spell first. Then once you're on the inside, see what's available. Might be easier that way, because you'll already have a "first experience."

www.un.org My tour guide said it helps if you are/do A. Not from the US (as the world HQ is in NYC many more Americans apply then any other) B. Speak English
